This is a single, continuous recording. In act 1 there are separate bass parts for 'Capitolo' and 'Folla' but they never sing (speak!) simultaneously so I have simply gone direct from one to the other - certainly in small companies this is often how it's performed, anyway. In act 2 there is a brief moment where the basses are split but this is only to save any Bass 2 singers having to sing too many high notes so I have again played straight through.
