This recording includes every number that the alto *might* sing: they will never all be in one performance. Because of this, the price is rather lower than it would normally be. All items are given with the full introduction except 'If God be for us' which has an introduction of approximately 6 bars. The one Da Capo aria, 'He was despised', is given with a full DC including ornaments which are given in the Watkins Shaw/Novello edition (used for the recording) as being by Handel.
