This bundle includes everything that might reasonably be sung by an alto ('soprano 2' or indeed 'soprano 3' in the language of Italian opera scores): Studenti and Fanciulle in act 1, and so on. In general, it is the upper of two parts, but when the parts are split in three there are 'soprano 1' which is the highest everywhere and 'soprano 2' which is the upper of two but middle of three.
