This recording was prepared using the new Ricordi edition of 2003, uncut. Where cues from Lorenzo are given, they assume he will be sung by a bass. In most of the long orchestral silences in the recitatives I have quietly clicked roughly where I feel the barlines will be, to make it easier to keep some sort of synchronisation, but that will inevitably be an issue. Because of that, the recording is slightly cheaper than it would normally have been.
